An attachment has been added.� ****Update August 10, 2023 The purpose of this update is to accomplish the following: Change the due date to August 24, 2023. Provide an update for the release of the questions and answers. --The anticipated release date of the answers for the questions received is August 18, 2023. Update the instructions to clarify the submission requirement. --The seven 7 pages does not include cover page or table of contents. **Reminder**��All correspondence should be submitted to�Jamillah Timmons (timmonsj@state.gov) and Guiovanna Jacobs (jacobsg@state.gov) only. ****Update July 25, 2023 The purpose of this update is to accomplish the following: Correct the due date to reflect the date of August 11, 2023. Provide clarification for the submission time. The time is 12:00 PM (Noon) Edit the submission instructions to show that responses are to be submitted to Jamillah Timmons and Guiovanna Jacobs. ***** This is a Department of State (DoS) Request for Information (RFI).� The Bureau of Information Resource Management, Business Management and Planning, Office of IT Acquisitions, Contract Services Division (IRM/BMP/ITA/CS), the Bureau of Consular Affairs, (CA/CST), Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, (INL/EX/GAP), and the Bureau of Administration, Office of the Procurement Executive (A/OPE) are conducting introductory market research into generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) capabilities for the Department�s IT acquisitions requirement writing. Pre-acquisition business operations rely on dated technology and manually intensive processes resulting in unexploited data resources, wasted labor hours, and inefficiencies. The goal of embedding AI technology into an existing and recurring process is to reduce inefficiencies from manual laborious tasks, simplifying workflows, and improving the accuracy of repetitive tasks in the market research and acquisition planning phases. Questions are due by August 4, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. Responses are due by August 11, 2023 at 12:00 P.M.
