Description

*** 08/29/2023 Update: PoP Change for Option periods*** This solicitation has been updated from four option periods to one option period and a sixth month option to extend the term of the contract. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This requirement is full and open competition. The 50th Contracting squadron is soliciting a requirement for non-personal services necessary to maintain the Check Point Intrusion Prevention Blades and Software Direct Support which is required for DELTA 8/10 SOPS to perform unified global management of snapshots, replicated snapshots, backup, and data recovery as they currently utilize Check Point Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) as a firewall to protect the Integrated Satellite Control System (ISCS). This can be attained by acquiring a refresh of the current Check Point Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), as the existing licensing/servicing agreements are set to expire and are a critical component in protecting the Integrated Satellite Control Systems. This requirement will be a brand-name restriction to Checkpoint hardware/software. This contract will have a base year with one option year and a six month option to extend the term fo the contract. 1. Enterprise Subscription & Premium Support. Support service ensures uninterrupted security and protection for OEM with access to critical service packs and hot fixes. (Base plus four option years) 2. Blade Subscription. Support service ensures uninterrupted security and protection for OEM with access to critical service packs and hot fixes. (Base plus four option years) The period of performance will be 09 September 2023 - 08 March 2026. See attached Specification Document and Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for more information on this requirement. Please also see attached redacted Justification and Approval document for the brand-name restriction.
