Description

This Special notice is to publish the Justification for Other Than Full and OpenCompetition for Motor Grader Annual Service & Repairs on the Eldorado National Forest.� Synopsis: USDA Forest Service Procurement & Property Service CSA #2 intends to award asole source procurement to complete repairs and annual inspection on a motor grader for the Eldorado National Forest.� This solicitation is for the scheduled annual service and repair of a Motor Grader on the Eldorado National Forest. Scheduled Annual Service includes 2,000-hour service, Including Overhead Valve Adjustment and Annual Safety Inspection. Repair work includes the following: Active code for water in fuel - Sensor needs to be replaced, Replace cab door striker, Replace front light assembly, Replace hydraulic oil filler cap, Replace bent entry steps, Replace articulation sensor - malfunctioning, Replace blade inserts - worn out, Reseal leaking shift cylinder, Replace both steering cylinders - both bent, Replace all tie rod ends - worn out, and Reseal both sides of the rear differential - leaking. The NAICS code is 811111 with size standard of $9M. The Government intends to award as a sole source procurement under theauthority of FAR part 6.302-2 (Unusual and compelling urgency). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested parties may contact the Contracting Officer listed below by September 1, 2023, at 11:00 AM PT. Responses received will be evaluated; however, any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. System for Award Management (SAM): Rule requires a firm to be registered in the SAM registration database (SAM), prior to award of any contract.
