- In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to MEDTEC LLC 1401 8TH ST SE Orange City, Iowa 51041-7488, United States. These components create a highly customizable and comfortable head and neck immobilization system for precise treatment to improve patient outcomes. The system has variable pitch capability which provides increased setup options in CT simulation and corrective positioning flexibility during treatment setup. It has midline thermoplastic mask attachment which provides increased rigidity and minimizes shrinkage to enhance patient comfort and a customizable cushion and dedicated thermoplastic mask. It utilizes a variety of thermoplastic types including IMRT Reinforced and ClearVision open-face which is adaptable with Precise to aid in effective and repeatable positioning with a unique thermoplastic frame that provides easy to use, secure and quiet mask attachment. This provides a unique corrective pitch capability and positioning flexibility which is unique to this equipment. The system is the only midline thermoplastic mask system on the market with variable pitch capability that increases setup options in CT simulation and allowing positioning flexibility for procedures. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339112 and the Business Size Standard is 1000 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, Tuesday, September 5th, 2023. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
