Description
This is a Sources Sought notice only. This is not a request for quotes and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. The Government will not provide any reimbursement for responses submitted in response to this Source Sought notice. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. If a solicitation is issued it shall be announced at a later date, and all interest parties must response to that solicitation announcement separately. Responses to this notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation The purpose of this announcement is to perform market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 335132, (Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Electric Lighting Fixture Manufacturing) with a size standard 600 employees. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO 1) is seeking to identify any vendor capable of providing 1000 AMBIENT FLAT-PANELS METALUX at the Togus VAMC per the Statement of Work below. This Sources Sought notice provides an opportunity for respondents to submit their capability and availability to provide the requirement described below. Vendors are encouraged to submit information relative to their capabilities to fulfill this requirement, in the form of a statement that addresses the specific requirement identified in this Sources Sought. Information received from this Sources Sought shall be utilized to facilitate the Contracting Officer s review of the market base, for acquisition planning, size determination, and procurement strategy. Submission Instructions: Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to provide the supplies are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 5:00PM EST, 5 September, 2023. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to Kenya Mitchell at kenya.mitchell1@va.gov with RFQ # 36C24123Q0961 in the subject line. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. Parties may submit additional information related to their capabilities, provided it contains all the requirements contained in the Sources Sought Worksheet. These flat-panels will be used to upgrade or replace existing lighting system in the hospital premises. The new lighting will significantly reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs, while providing better illumination. 1. Background The Togus Department of Veterans Affairs Electrical Department in Augusta, Maine is seeking to upgrade its lighting system to reduce energy usage and maintenance costs while improving illumination. To achieve this goal, they require the procurement of 1000 AMBIENT FLAT-PANELS METALUX part# 24FPSL2SCT3. 2. Scope of Work The scope of this project includes the following tasks: The procurement of 1000 AMBIENT FLAT-PANELS METALUX part# 24FPSL2SCT3, including shipping and handling charges. All panels must be factory-sealed and in compliance with the Metalux part# 24FPSL2SCT3 specifications. The panels must be delivered on or before the agreed delivery date. The delivery address is the Togus Department of Veterans Affairs, 1 VA Center, Augusta, Maine, 04330. The Contractor must provide all necessary paperwork, including a certificate of conformity, commercial invoice, packing list, and other required documents. 3. Deliverables 1000 AMBIENT FLAT-PANELS METALUX part# 24FPSL2SCT3 within the agreed time frame. All necessary paperwork for customs clearance and compliance. 4. Warranty The supplier shall provide a warranty on the Ambient Flat-Panels Metalux that covers defects in materials or workmanship for a minimum of 12 months from the date of delivery.
