Description

This is a sources sought synopsis for the General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Region 8, Colorado Service Center(GSA). This is not a solicitation announcement, and there is no request for proposal or related documents. This synopsis is exclusively for market research to determine the interest of qualified small business sources. Information gathered from market research may be used to assess the competitive environment, method of solicitation, type of contract, content of the solicitation, and for other planning purposes. Contract Type: The anticipated type of contract is a firm-fixed price, Design-Build contract. The Government anticipates award of a contract to one awardee. NAICS : The NAICS code for the procurement is 236220 -- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $45 million. Set-Aside: The Government intends to set aside the requirement for small business concerns. Anticipated Scope: GSA desires to certify the anchorages used for fall protection and fa�ade access on 10 buildings in Region 8 � Rocky Mountain Region. The certification is to be performed in accordance with the applicable regulations and standards of OSHA and ANSI Z359 and is to be completed under the supervision of a Qualified Person. The SOW will reference in appendices a study performed March 25th, 2020. The purpose of this project is to obtain the services of a Design/Build Contractor to evaluate the recommendations of the study and provide a final design solution to remedy the fall protection deficiencies to obtain final certification of the fall protection systems. Please limit information to no more than 5 standard size pages. Note: Any proprietary information submitted in response must be clearly marked. Other Information: If a solicitation is released for the need described above, then all interested firms will be required to register in the Government's System for Award Management (SAM). This request for information shall not be construed as a request for proposal nor as a commitment by the Government. Information is to be provided on a voluntary basis. No reimbursement of direct or indirect costs or charges, including postage and shipping, or any other costs will be made as a result of the submission of information. Contractors are highly encouraged to submit questions and comments in writing to david.berry@gsa.gov and cory.schubert@gsa.gov. The Government will not provide information by telephone.
