Description: The purpose of this project is to create habitat for eastern massasauga rattlesnake. Open areas and brush piles will be created adjacent to riparian zones north of the Au Sable River. The work will require the use of chainsaws, brush saws or hand tools to open up small pockets of timber. Small brush piles, ? 8�x 8� x 8� in size, will be constructed to provide cover and foraging sites for the eastern massasauga rattlesnake. The Contract Implementation period is the time period for the completion of all items.� Procurement will be 100% set-aside for Small Business and will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, 13, and 19
