Description

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and VAAR 819.70/38 U.S.C. 8127-8128 on behalf of the Memphis VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with The Janz Corporation (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) located at 275 Outerbelt Street, Columbus, Ohio 43213-1529. The rationale basis for the sole source acquisition is that The Janz Corporation is the only responsible source that can provide the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for Hill-Rom Company, Inc. The equipment for this requirement is as follows: PROP7520A21 PROGRESSA MATTRESS: Full Pulmonary Dartex 18 This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received by the deadline specified in this notice, in accordance with FAR 5.203, will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice are due on or before 09/07/2023 by 10:00 AM Central Standard Time (CST) by email to delaney.dickey@va.gov.
