- Correction 09/05/2023 - In section C.1 (d) Project Specifications and Guidlines, it states ""The disposal of all septic waste and hand washing material must comply with the county, state and federal regulations"" This is an error, there are no hand washing stations in this requirement.� SUMMARY� The United States Forest Service (USFS) is experiencing septic system failures at the Coldwater Lake restrooms facilities.� With the failed septic systems, the USFS needs temporary porta potties for those visiting Coldwater Lake and the Hummocks Trail Head. Project Needs Coldwater Lake: The USFS will needs four (4) standard-sized porta potties and two (2) XL-sized porta potties.� The toilets will be located at the boat launch and picnic sides of the Coldwater Lake.� Each side will have two standard-sized and one XL-sized porta potty.� The location of each system will be negotiated by the contractor and the USFS, to ensure that the Contractor will have access to each system and that the visitors can park and have access to the site as necessary. Hummocks Trail Head: The USFS will needs one (1) standard-sized porta potties and one (1) XL-sized porta potties.� The location of each system will be negotiated by the contractor and the USFS, to ensure that the Contractor will have access to each system and that the visitors can park and have access to the site as necessary. Project Specifications and Guidelines All work for this contract must comply with County, State, and Federal regulations. The disposal of all septic waste material and hand washing waste material must comply with County, State, and Federal regulations. The Contractor is responsible for pumping, service, and cleaning all porta potties weekly.� Cleaning of the sanitary systems must comply with industry standards. The Contractor will provide the USFS with a schedule for servicing each system on a weekly basis. Delivery of, removal of, travel, fuel, etc. are considered incidental, and no separate charge/payment can be made for these services. The standard-sized porta potty should be able to service up to 10 workers for a 40-hour work week. The XL-sized porta potty should be able to service up to 10 workers for a 40-hour work week. PROJECT LOCATION: All project work is to be accomplished at two locations, both located on WA State Highway 504.� Their specific locations are described below: Coldwater Lake: Located at Milepost 44.9 on WA State Highway 504.� There is a boat launch side and picnic side, and both locations will need services. Hummocks Trail Head: Located at Milepost 45.1 on WA State Highway 504. Period of Performance Septemeber 2023 - June 2024 Anticipated Service Dates: September -Novemeber and April -June One Firme Fixed Priced Contract will be awarded.
