- Description
- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: Notice: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information purposes only. Purpose: The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive, and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 339950 - Sign Manufacturing, which has a corresponding Size Standard of 500 employees, and Product or Service Code, (PSC) of 7510 - OFFICE SUPPLIES. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide a capabilities statement, confirming your availability to provide the described service/supplies. Program Details: NNSY is performing research to see if there are responsible sources that can provide any or all of the listed products below: Breadth and Limitations of Work: NNSY requires 15 displays to accommodate the amount of career fairs that we attend at any given time. Requirements: Scope of Work: a. NNSY requires displays to improve our marketing of NNSY at college career fairs. Our current banners are table top displays that are barely noticeable. b. NNSYs current presence at career fairs is minimal due to our lack of brand awareness. The presence afforded by these 7.5x7.5 displays will significantly improve that awareness and will increase the number of students that our recruiters meet at the career fairs. c. NNSY has not been able to meet our hiring needs across several engineering departments. With the addition of these displays to our recruiting team, we are sure to attract more potential employees to our booths to meet with our recruiters. This will surely be the boost that our team needs so we are able to meet our hiring needs. Contractor Responsibilities: The contractor shall provide a proof (sample display) to christopher.f.vieira.civ@us.navy.mil prior to moving forward with the final displays. NNSY Responsibilities: Government will provide photographs to the vendor once the contract has been awarded. . Delivery Terms/Shipping/Transportation Shipping included in the quote provided. Place of Performance/Delivery Location: Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Code 2300T, Building 1575 Portsmouth, VA 23709 Period of Performance (PoP)/ Completion Date/ Delivery Date: These displays will be used at career fairs our engineering recruiters attend in the spring (Feb-Apr) and fall (Sep-Oct).
