- Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 9, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed contract to Healthcare Quality Assistance Group LLC, 2721 NW Denver, Ave. Lawton, OK 73505-3942. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106-1 and in accordance with 38 USC ยง8127(b), as implemented by VAAR 819.7007. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance shall be a base year of 09/18/2023 through 09/17/2024, with four one-year option periods. The contract will be to Healthcare Quality Assistance Group LLC, to provide The Joint Commission Resources Laboratory Consulting. The purpose of this procurement action is to acquire continuous survey readiness services, also known as continuous standards compliance. The accreditation process is a complex system of related and interdependent activities which enable the VHA to maintain a constant state of regulatory readiness and maintain a safe healthcare environment. These services will support all VA Medical Centers/Facilities and identified VHACO Program Offices to enable a continuous survey readiness program to achieve and continue compliance with The Joint Commission accreditation standards and processes. The contractor shall conduct six VISN 9 and associated facilities educations (training) per performance period specific to Laboratory TJC accreditation standards, processes, and initiatives. VISN 9 and associated facilities educations (training) will be conducted via VA/VHA approved platform (e.g. MS Teams, Webex) with live video, audio streaming, and recording for future VA views. All educational (training) materials shall be provided via electronic means (PowerPoint, PDF, Excel, etc.) by the contractor. Scheduling of the VISN 9 and associated facilities Educations, including topics, shall be agreed upon by the Contracting Officer Representative and the contractor during each performance period. NAICS code: 541611 Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services (SBA Size Standard $24.5 Million) THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest, certification and capability to respond to this requirement no later than September 9, 2024, 4:30 PM, CT. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Department of Veterans Affairs will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice of intent. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this notice of intent, the Government shall determine if a solicitation will be issued. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) in order to be eligible for award.
