- The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, Hampton VA 23667, intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract for the procurement of the Polymedco High Throughput Fecal Immunochemical Diana Analyzer for the Hampton and Fayetteville VA Medical Centers with Polymedco, LLC in accordance with 41 U.S.C. ยง3304(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). This is not a request for competitive offers, and no solicitation is available. Market research has determined that these items are highly specialized and are only available from a single source without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost. No other type of items will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an effective date of September 13, 2023, to Polymedco, LLC.;510 Furnace Dock Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567-6220, SAM UEI: JYKKQ1NLJRX7. The Fayetteville and Hampton VAMCs require their current high throughput fully automated high-throughput fecal immunochemical analyzers to be upgraded, installed, and tested before the option renewal on December 01, 2023 due to increased testing. NCO 6 seeks to procure the Diana Analyzer via a sole source open market purchase order. This equipment will allow the Fayetteville and Hampton VAMC Pathology and Laboratory Service the ability to run more Fecal Immunochemical Tests (FIT) to meet a national mail-in FIT program that is being spearheaded by Specialty Medical and Pathology and Laboratory in conjunction with the White House s Moonshot Oncology program. This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. Respondents who submit proprietary data shall clearly mark the data with appropriate markings. The Government will not pay for any information submitted as a result of this synopsis.
