- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Butner, North Carolina, intends to award a Sole Source Contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source, to Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc for the provision of maintenance and service for the software to maintain an Emerald Synapse Picture Archiving System and its associated hardware and for Emergency Services as needed to provide servicing located within the Federal Correctional Complex, Federal Medical Center, Butner, North Carolina.�The NAICS code is 339112. To the best of our knowledge, Fujifilm Medical Systems is the only provider of this service The period of performance for this procurement will be October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024. �This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirements may provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by Friday, September 22, 2023 at 11:00 am (EST). Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply products and services that will comply with the requirements and perform satisfactorily manner. Vendors must also provide references from other customers who are using these products and services and show that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of contact, Telephone and Fax Number, Email Address, Business Size, DUNS Number and Unique Entity ID. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Fujifilm Medical Systems USA Inc. All vendors are hereby notified if your response is not received by the date specified in this notice, it will not be considered. Faith Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. In accordance with FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors commercial items. Acceptance time will be five (15) days from offer date. The following provision apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, 52.212-3 Representations and Certifications-Commercial items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions; 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration; 52.212-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated by Reference; 852.270-4 Commercial Advertising; 852.271-70 Nondiscrimination in Services Provided Beneficiaries; 52.252-2 Clauses incorporated by reference 52.232-18 Availability of Funds; 52.232-38 Submission of Electronic Funds Transfer Information with offer; 52.233-2 Service of Protest; 52.233-4 Applicable Law for Breach of Contract Claim. Interested parties are required to submit prices, clear and convincing data substantiating their capabilities and qualifications to satisfy this requirement. The Government contemplates award of a firm fixed price single award contract resulting from this solicitation. All offerors responding to this announcement shall submit an offer along with the information required in 52.212-1 and a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, to the Contracting Officer.
