Description

Flowmeter for stream flow measurements 1. Shall feature embedded GPS with automatic and manual location fix options 2. View beam and quality control plots directly to determine signal or beam block issues 3. Will calculate flows instantaneously as well as a total volume. 4. Include a handheld unit with IP67 waterproof rating and color LCD display. Minimum 16GB memory, removable battery cartridge, and Windows software for communications and data retrieval. 5. Allow the user to setup and store templates for use when revisiting sites without creating the templates each time. 6. Provide Bluetooth and/or direct USB connection 7. Allow for entry of comments at any station 8. Probe will be 2D/3D side looking beam type with tilt sensor and automatically select velocity range. Connection will be a compact 8-pin wet-connectable plug. A pressure sensor for depth determination will be integral to this probe. 9. Include 1.2m wading rod with increments in centimeters: includes bubble level, mounting for display unit and ADV (2D/3D) probe. Case will be included for both wading rod and handheld display unit.
