Description
US Department of Veterans Affairs MiniCRD CradlePoint Routers The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology, Office of Emergency Management (OEM) has a requirement for FirstNet Compact Rapid Deployable (FirstNet MINICRD) including deployable equipment that provides AT&T Band Class 14 4G LTE wireless service, hardware/configuration support and CradlePoint advanced licensing. The FirstNet MINICRD is a highly portable FirstNet Deployable Kit contained in two ruggedized cases consisting of the miniCRD and the Satellite Link case. Each case has a CradlePoint 900 series router installed. These routers will be added to VA s Net Cloud Management tool and managed by the OEM, Cellular team. The OEM cellular team will acquire cellular SIM cards internally from VA Core Provisioning Service. The cases may be hand-carried or transported by a single person in a vehicle, by air or sea to anywhere communications are needed. This equipment provides coverage where permanent network coverage is not available within AT&T licensed areas, satellite service between the FirstNet MINICRD equipment and AT&T s mobility network and related management services, hurricane response and recovery, business continuity during natural disasters or service interruption, anywhere FirstNet cellular and Internet services are needed. The kit allows creation of your own FirstNet Cellular and Wi-Fi hotspot, even in the most remote environments. This system offers multiple backhaul pathways, while broadcasting FirstNet Cellular and Internet to support critical operations. This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services is prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6. The combined synopsis/solicitation is issued a sole source acquisition to AT&T Mobility, LLC. The intended award will be a firm-fixed price contract. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 541519. The anticipated award date of on or about September 22, 2023. This notification shall close on September 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM EST.
