Description
The�USDA OCIO DISC�is seeking industry information�to identify contractors who possess the capabilities to provide an alternative software and support for�the current�Keyfast IBM mainframe software, which is soon to be discontinued.� Requirements: Must function on z/OS and within CICS, substituting KeyFast forms with their own Must be able to provide at least three successful migrations from KeyFast into CICS USDA is intersted in alternative that meet or exceed the following attributes and key features of KEYFAST: speed and ease of use Non-programmers create data entry forms and edit checks in a matter of minutes. The system includes all usual editing capabilities of dedicated hardware solutions. Any person familiar with a mainframe terminal or PC can input data In addition,validate user input against master files and databases.� Captures incorrect data at the time of input and edit checks. Output data is formatted identical to the records created with legacy systems. Converted to without relying on mainframe programmers. Key Features: multi-lingual, consistent user interface with multilevel help-screens, messages and online documentation active menus and directories with user controlled colors paint-the-screen design of input forms to match the appearance of paper documents.
