Description

The Pacific Northwest Research Station (PNW), Corvallis Forestry Sciences Lab � Corvallis, OR intends to issue a firm fixed price, sole source award to Convergint Technologies LLC, 1 Commerce Dr. Schaumburg, IL 60173 for Lenel Access Control System (ACS). This procurement is being conducted under FAR Subpart 8.405. The Corvallis Forestry Sciences Lab requires providing all materials, labor, and equipment to replace the current, antiquated Lenel access control system (ACS). �The access control system shall be in accordance with the USDA ePACS policy and Pacific Northwest Region ACS guidelines. This policy mandates the use of specific hardware and software that shall be connected to the USDA Lenel software server, only Convergint Technologies can perform this work as they are the only authorized Lenel representative servicing the Corvallis, OR area and is therefore authorized under 8.405. To award to any other source would not be in compliance with current USDA and PNW policies. The anticipated award date is September 15, 2023. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334290 and the size standard is 800 employees. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement was based market researchy . A solicitation will not be issued. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
