- Description
- The following must be met for the upcoming sole source brand name only GE Aisys CS2 Anesthesia Machines needed by Charles George Veterans Administration Medical Center. Functions to be performed: Provide End-Tidal Control Software and Lung Protective Ventilation Application Functionality. Utilize Aladin Anesthetic Agent Cassettes, capable of providing both accidental awareness protection and overdose protection. Display breath by breath Patient Spirometry for airway pressure, flow, volume, compliance, PEEP and airway resistance measured at the patient s airway. Simplified workflow with configurable Quick Picks for fast agent, oxygen, and fresh gas flow adjustments. Auto alarm limits with tunnelling alarms to help optimize alarm management for each patient. ecoFLOW displays agent consumption to help mitigate wasteful over-delivery of fresh gas flow and help avoid delivery of hypoxic mixtures in the circle breathing system during non-automated low-flow anesthesia. Wide range of ventilation modes offered, including VCV, PCV, PSVPro, PCV-VG, SIMV VCV, SIMV PCV, CPAP+PSV and SIMV PCV-VG. Automated Vital Capacity designed to help manage lung ventilation issues during general anesthesia. Essential physical characteristics: System: 15"" full color display utilizing surface acoustic wave touch screen technology. Advanced Breathing System (ABS) specifically designed for low flow to help provide fast gas kinetics for rapid wash-in and wash-out of anesthetic agent. ICU-inspired ventilator, with digitally controlled flow valve technology to help achieve set pressures and volumes. Serial interface for legacy connection Multiple user configurable Network ports Multiple protocols including HL7 and SBX as standard Power: Power input 100-120 Vac, 50/60 Hz 220-240 Vac, 50/60 Hz Power cord Length: 5 m/16.4 ft 10A @ 250 Vac or 15A @ 125 Vac Battery backup Backup power Demonstrated battery time under typical operating conditions is 90+ minutes when anesthesia machine is fully charged. Battery time under extreme conditions is 30 minutes with monitor. Battery type Internal rechargeable sealed lead a Dimensions: Height 133.9 cm/52.7 in Width 68 cm/26.8 in Depth 82 cm/32.3 in Weight: 190 kg/419 lbs Materials: All materials in contact with exhaled patient gases are autoclavable, except disposable flow sensors, O2 cell, and Respiratory Modules. (Autoclavable flow sensors optional) All materials in contact with patient gas are not made with natural rubber latex. It is the intention of the government to procure this equipment as a Sole Source SDVOSB acquisition. If your company can provide this equipment, please respond ASAP no later than September 15, 2023 @ 11:00 am to kim.pauley@va.gov with technical documentation and price for 12 fully operational installed anesthesia machines.
