Description

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Base Support Branch (AFLCMC/PZIBB) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), OH intends to award a sole source contract to: COMPASS POINT LLC 2553 Dulles View DR STE 700 Herndon, Virginia 20171-5226 This requirement is for the following: CLIN� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � Item� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � �Quantity 0001� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � Vesta 911 Expansion� � � � � � � 1� The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order and carried out as a sole source action (not competitively awarded). The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is 10 United States Code (USC) 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b). This authority is supported by an approved Single Source Justification. The applicable NAICS code is 517121, Telecommunications Resellers. This NAICS code has a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. The 788th CES/CEXF has a requirement for the installation of two (2) additional VESTA E-911 consoles to include 2 PCs, 2 EARS recorders, touch screen, map monitors, and genovation keypads. The new consoles will be compatible with the current system and have like features. The system will allow the following core system features and capabilities; 911 call-taking, ALI database for government extensions, ESRI based mapping, digital logging recorder, and system redundancy to eliminate single points of failure that could prevent a 911 call from being delivered and answered as described in the Statement of Work (SOW).� Compass Point, LLC (Compass Point) is the sole vendor able to meet the Government's requirements without risking any direct or indirect negative impacts on the E911 operation for Wright Patterson AFB. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 26 Sep 2023 @ 1300 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes.
