- DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION September 28, 2023 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE-SOURCE Belimed Decontaminating Washers Maintenance & Repairs 36C25023Q1221 The Ann Arbor VA Medical Center (VAMC) requires maintenance and repair services, including emergency calls and repairs, for Belimed, Inc. (Belimed) decontaminating washers and return gate. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10 intends to issue a sole-source solicitation to Belimed, Inc., 8351 Palmetto Commerce Parkway, Suite 101, Ladson, SC 29456 for maintenance, repair, emergency call outs and emergency repair services for Belimed decontaminating washers model# WD250/SN 990771141006, model# WD250/SN 990771141007, model# WD290/SN 2008555, and return gate SN 24269. Per Belimed s Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) proprietary letter, It is our policy that all service and maintenance functions that are performed on your Belimed equipment are performed only by Belimed trained and certified service technicians, clinical engineers or bio-medical engineers. Further, Belimed states, only Belimed approved service replacement parts should be used in the maintenance and repair on your equipment. Failure to service the equipment with factory trained technicians or to use Belimed approved service parts can result in warranty cancellation. This procurement, therefore, is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811210, and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is $34.0M. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of fully meeting the requirements may submit a quote, which may be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can meet the requirements of the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this notice are due on or before Monday, October 16, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Time, to Jeanne Ortiz, Contract Specialist, via email at jeanne.ortiz@va.gov.
