Description

This is not a request for quote/proposal but a synopsis notice. Pursuant to FAR 5.203(a) Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict (SO/LIC), intends to extend services by issuing a six month extension to the incumbent, Emissary LLC., on a sole source basis, 15000 Conference Center Drive, Suite 500, Chantilly, VA 20151-3841. The services are being extended to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the required Technical Support Services to OSD-SO/LIC. The contractor is currently performing services under Contract number HQ0034-18-C-0143, with services concluding on September 29, 2023. The anticipated period of performance is for six months from September 30, 2023 through March 29, 2024. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 � Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The requirement is currently being re-competed through a competitive acquisition with an anticipated award date March 2024. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will NOT be honored or acknowledged.
