A: Yes Q: We would like to know the intended contract period for this contract and the Tentative Period of Performance dates ? A: 11/01/2023 10/31/2024 (Base + 4 Option Years) Q: We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. A: There is an incumbent Q: If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number? A: Crosstown Courier Service, Inc. was awarded contract 36C24619D0033 on 10/17/2018 in the amount of $524,555.10 for a base and 4-year option firm fixed price contract.   Q: Can you provide clarity on the pricing sheet descriptions as it reads differently than the preferred route: CLIN001: It s not described as starting in Salisbury to Charlotte. Can you provide clarification on the roundtrip? A: Response is pending discussion with the end user; another amendment will be issued to address this question. CLIN002: The courier service from Charlotte CBOC to Charlotte HCC two times a daily (Monday -Friday) is not described on the preferred table for twice a day. CLIN003 Kernersville doesn t state it starts in Salisbury; it s the other way around Kernersville to Salisbury. Q: How many drivers are completing this work currently? A: We do not describe nor require a set number of drivers Q: Will we be providing the icepacks or dry ice? A: Yes Q: Will there be any new Clinics added in the next five years? A: Not currently planned Q: Can you give a number of stats that may be called in per day or week? A: This is patient dependent as we cannot determined when patients may arrive. I would approximate 2 per week. Q: Is there an incumbent for the effort of solicitation 36C24623Q1155? A: Yes Q: If so, can you provide the incumbent's name as well as the current contract information? A: Crosstown Courier Service, Inc. was awarded contract 36C24619D0033 on 10/17/2018 in the amount of $524,555.10 for a base and 4-year option firm fixed price contract.   Q: Do you have a timeframe of when the VA plans to issue the award? A: Period of Performance begins 1 November 2023 31 October 2024 (Base plus 4 option years) Q: Can you provide the budget for the solicitation? A: We cannot provide this information as it may give an unfair advantage for contract award. Q: Can you tell me who the incumbent vendor is?  A: Crosstown Courier Service, Inc. Q: What was the total value of the last contract for this VA route? A: $524,555.10 for a base and 4-year option firm fixed price contract Q: What was the cost of the final full option year of the previous contract? A: Option Year 4 $104,911.02 Q: How many drivers/vehicles are currently used to service the current contract? A: Unknown Q: What is the vehicle size currently servicing this location? A: Unknown Q: Do you accept CPARs evaluations as additional Past Performance information? A: Yes Q: Regarding specific employees information: It is common practice for small businesses that the drivers, cars and other equipment used for a contract are not sourced until after an award has been made, for cost effectiveness and to reduce loss. However, we will be forwarding our standard Training Certificates-Procedures for your reference, is this information acceptable? A: That is acceptable training certificates etc. will need to be provided prior to beginning services. Q: The preferred routes outlined in table 1 does not match the route in the price schedule. are the routes in table one mandatory or are they recommended? This will affect how pricing of the contract will be and how many drivers we have to assign.  A: Response is pending discussion with the end user; another amendment will be issued to address this question. Q: For the STAT courier services on the price schedules (0004, 1004, 2004, 3004, 4004), since service can be requested to any of the VAMCs or CBOCs, should we quote a price per mile for this?  A: The VA cannot suggest a vendors quote for service. Q: Has the scope of work changed since the last contract was awarded?  A: Yes Q:  Who was the previous incumbent? A: Crosstown Courier Service, Inc. Q:  What was the incumbent's previous award? A: 36C24619D0033 Q:  Are STAT requests for all locations? A: Yes Q: In the event of a preceding contract, do we have information available regarding the number of drivers utilized? A: We do not have that information. Q: Could you please confirm whether the items will be loaded into the vehicle, or if it will be the responsibility of the driver to enter the premises for item collection? A: The drivers are required to pick-up and transport. Q: How many past performances are needed to satisfy the requirement? A: Identify all federal, state, and local government contracts as well as any private/commercial contracts of similar scope, size, complexity that are ongoing or have been completed within the last three years.
