- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE and is for information purposes only.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District, requests letters of interest from PRIME CONTRACTORS interested in performing work on a potential design-bid-build construction solicitation for the Agana Small Boat Harbor, Agana, Guam.� NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE.��� Project Description: Vegetation Removal and Repair of Agana Small Boat Harbor, Guam Project Scope:� The purpose of the Vegetation Removal and Repair project is to conduct maintenance repairs on the Federally owned navigation structures � Revetted mole; East and West Breakwater. The major elements of this project include: pre-mobilization activities; compliance with all applicable environmental requirements; mobilization, which includes preparation of temporary construction staging; debris and vegetation removal to include tress, tree stumps shrubs and fill (non-rock material); treatment with herbicide to prevent any future vegetation growth; repair to include rework of existing stone, resetting, replacement of all identified toe stones and armor stones to include replacement of bedding stones to meet lines and grades. The estimated period of performance is 9 calendar months. This project plans and specs will identify the areas of the repairs and vegetation removal. Estimated cost of construction is $1M to $5M. Interested Prime Contractors should submit the following: 1.� Contractor has successfully completed at least one repair on rubble mound coastal structures in open ocean waters within the last 7 years; 2. � Provide a listing of equipment available for the construction activities; 3. � Bonding capability for a single contract action of at least $5M and an aggregate of at least $10M by the interested prime contractor. 4. � UEI/CAGE CODE, Expiration date in SAM.GOV. 5. � Indicate whether your firm is a large business or small business and indicate applicable socio-economic categories of FAR Part 19 (HUBZone, Women Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, or Small Disadvantaged Business). Narratives shall be no longer than two (2) pages.� Email responses are required.� Responses are to be sent via email to brandon.m.kibbe@usace.army.mil, no later than October 13, 2023 2:00 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE.� It is a market research tool being utilized to determine the availability of potential qualified contractors before determining the method of acquisition.
