- Description
- The general scope of the requirements will be furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications. The purpose of the requirement is for construction services for the renovation and updating of barracks building in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. Buildings 1012 and 1013, 40,639 Square Foot (SF), three story, permanent construction barracks facilities were built in the 1960s and currently house Advanced Individual Training (AIT) trainees. Soldiers live in squad bays, which do not meet the current AIT standards. Additionally, the spaces are congested, have poor circulation, inadequate unit storage, lack classroom space and do not accommodate gender integrated training.
