OVERVIEW: COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requirement Information The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, DC has a requirement for a commercially available aerosol jet printing (AJP) system. The system needs capability of interconnection with applications, including but not limited to, photovoltaics, detectors, wearable/implantable biomedical devices, neuromorphic computing, and RF electronics. The system has capability of working via atomization of either metal, semiconductor, or insulator inks (to include both ultrasonic and pneumatic atomization). The tool can facilitate custom printing of materials for interconnection, structural supports, electrodes, passivation/insulation, and integrated circuit production.
