- ------x------ Amendment # 1 This is Amendment No. 01 for Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 72038823R00001 and: (a) Amends relevant RFP sections that are reflected in the track changes RFP as attached hereby (a clean version of the RFP is also furnished for ease of reference); (b) Publishes the submitted questions from interested offerors and corresponding responses. -----x---- Base RFP The overall goal of the activity is to generate a sustainable increase in lending volume to the agricultural sector that is additional and with positive development impact. The activity will facilitate financing (a strong emphasis on additionality, i.e. financing which otherwise would not have occurred) to agricultural micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), including farmers.The overall goal of the activity is to generate a sustainable increase in lending volume to the agricultural sector that is additional and with positive development impact. The activity will facilitate financing (a strong emphasis on additionality, i.e. financing which otherwise would not have occurred) to agricultural micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), including farmers.The overall goal of the activity is to generate a sustainable increase in lending volume to the agricultural sector that is additional and with positive development impact. The activity will facilitate financing (a strong emphasis on additionality, i.e. financing which otherwise would not have occurred) to agricultural micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), including farmers. The award will be issued on a cost plus fixed-fee basis. This award will be managed adaptively, which means that USAID will work with the contractor to periodically review and �based on experience, progress, and learning�make changes to the workplan and/or the Contractor�s overall approach.�In the interest of adaptive management, targets are expected to be modified periodically (at least annually during the workplanning phase) based upon learning and evidence to ensure that targets are realistic but aggressive. The Government intends to conduct the evaluation and selection process in two phases. This is a phased acqusition voluntary down select process as described in the solicitation. All Offeror�s responding to Phase One are eligible to continue to Phase Two although Offeror�s will be advised after evaluation of Phase One proposals on whether or not they are considered viable and encouraged to continue through the solicitation process.� ---------x-------
