Description
The Omaha District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a contractor to provide Flight Operations and Maintenance of a Government-Owned Aircraft (Metro 23, SA227 DC) based at Offutt Air Force Base, Bellevue, NE.� The aircraft shall be operated and maintained in strict accordance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) for the category and class of aircraft and the manufacture�s specifications.� The contractor shall maintain the aircraft by providing all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, accessories, as necessary to maintain, inspect, repair, and operate one Government-owned Metro 23, SA 227 DC Aircraft. �The contractor must provide trained personnel to safely operate the aircraft by providing and submitting proper documents to operate the Government aircraft and between such places and at such times as designated by a Government authorized representative. �Most flights are schedule in advanced and occasionally require overnight layovers.� Flights can also occur on short notice in response to unforeseen events. The aircraft is operated (estimated) 600 hours per year. The contractor, at a minimum, shall provide- Four (4) pilots, two (2) of which must meet PIC duties, 14 CFR Part 135 Two (2) certified A&P aircraft mechanics.� Training specific to the SA-227DC and Garrett TPE 331-12 engines Estimated period of performance is Base year plus 3 Option Years. Anticipated contract value between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Estimated solicitation issue is TBD.
