NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: IAW FAR 5.101 this notice is to advise the public that The National Institutes of Health, NIH Hazardous Waste Division intends to award a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to Enviroware, WasteLinq, Inc . NIH Waste Hazardous Division requires annual maintenance and support agreement for a base year with four (4) option years, exercisable at the Government s discretion, that will provide for continued support of Division of Environmental Protections Waste Tracking Management Information System (aka: Enviroware). This agreement is to maintain Enviroware in good operating condition and to ensure that existing systems and all components are in good working order and meet all applicable codes and software developer specifications. This application is required to be used daily by our chemical waste contractor (under separate contract) to track and manage hazardous waste generated at NIH main campus and off-site facilities managed under NIHs Controlled Hazardous Substance Permit issued by Maryland Department of Environment. This application also provides NIH environmental staff with the ability to develop various hazardous waste operation documents on a daily /weekly or monthly basis as required by the Maryland Department of Environment and the US Environmental Protection agency. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information that clearly demonstrates the capability to perform the required work.
