The FAA has a requirement to provide backup generators for a tower program that meets the following criteria: 1. Generators must be able to integrate with MidNite Solar Classic charging system. 2. Generators must have Remote Monitoring capabilities, and remote control capabilities. 3. Generators must be able to provide software interface data, i.e. Generator Status, Run Times, and Fuel Levels. 4. Generators must be a minimum of 25KW and a maximum of 45KW. 5. Generators must run on Liquid Propane. It is unknown by the FAA if there are Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) options that meet these criteria. Readily avaialble COTS options are preferred; however, responses from special order manufacturers are also desired if no COTS solutions are known to exist among industry and manufacturers are capable and interested. � It is anticipated that responses to this Market Survey may result in a future procurement activity; however, the FAA is only seeking industry�s assistance to help define our need and assess level of interest among industry to particulate in a competitive solicitation process at this time. Future procurements may be competitive via full and open competition, or fully or partially set-aside for small business concerns. �� Responses to this announcement will be used for informational and market research purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor�s expense. The FAA requests that interested vendors respond with the following information to assist the FAA with our need: 1. COTS Product(s) Fact Sheet / Special Order COTS: If readily available (off the shelf) options exist that meets these specifications, please provide a Facts Sheet that includes the following information: a. Make/Model b. Specifications and Capabilities relevant to needs specified above c. Wattage Output d. Fuel Source e. Quantities currently in stock If more than one COTS option exists that meet these criteria, please provide additional fact sheets for multiple options. �� SPECIAL ORDER: If believed that no COTS options exist that meet this criterion, but manufacturer is capable of providing, please provide information to this affect in lieu of fact sheet(s). Information should include capabilities of your company and references to other special orders you have manufactured/performed that is comparable to this requirement. Please also include estimated lead times to manufacture.�� 2. Statement of Interest:� Interest in participating in a competitive award process to provide their suggested solution(s). If interested vendor is a manufacturer utilizing distributors, please include a list of your authorized distributors or reference to where this can be found via your website. 3. Rough Order of Magnitude: A ballpark cost estimate of a price per unit. THIS IS NOT A QUOTE OR PROPOSAL OF ANY KIND.
