- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Rock Island District has a two-phase design-build requirement to�design and remodel to the interior of the existing administrative building and visitor center building, and the design and construction of a new garage/additional space facility, to replace an existing facility that shall be demolished/removed for USACE at Coralville Lake near Iowa City, Iowa. The remodel of existing Administrative Office space should be a priority to get project personnel back into permanent office spaces as quickly as possible. Then the remodel of visitor�s area of the building. There is an existing 3,700 SF garage/storage building is to be demolished/removed down to the concrete foundation. This structure shall be replaced by a building to be designed and constructed in a location designated behind and attached to the existing Administration Building. The desire is to provide �State-of-the-Art� facilities that rival similar use facilities in the private sector, using energy efficient and sustainable design. The overall goal is to provide functional, secure, visually appealing facilities that are a source of pride for USACE and the Coralville Lake. __________________________________________________________________________ Answers to questions submitted in accordance with RFP Section 00800, Question and Answer Via Email, can be found in the attachment titled, "" W912EK24R0002 Question and Answer - 26 Sept. 2023.pdf"". __________________________________________________________________________ Amendment 0001 extends the proposal time and due date from 2:00 PM CST on 02 October 2023 to 12:00 AM CST on 13 October 2023.� __________________________________________________________________________ Amendment 0002 extends the proposal due time from 12:00 AM CST on 13 October 2023 to 2:00 PM CST on 13 October 2023.� __________________________________________________________________________ Amendment 0003 extends the proposal time and due date from 2:00 PM CST on 13 October 2023 to 2:00 PM CST on 26 October 2023. The amendment also adds clauses, removes a clause, updates wage rates, updates specification sections, and updates the question and answer. __________________________________________________________________________ Amendment 0004 updates the period of performance, updates a clause, updates wage rates, updates specifications sections, adds a statement of work and appendices, adds multiple spec sections and updates the question and answer. __________________________________________________________________________ Amendment 0005�extends the proposal time and due date from 2:00 PM CST on 26 October 2023 to 2:00 PM CST on 01 November 2023.�The amendment also adds the schedule of prices.
