Description

This pre-solicitation notice is to inform potential offerors that the Buffalo NY VA Medical Center will be posting a solicitation (36C24224B0002) on or about November 20th, 2023, to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to construct a new Gas room to include the installation of gas manifolds to support the Microbiology lab (room 234-E) and Blood Bank. Work includes, but not limited to the tasks listed: Division of room 223-E and construction of new IT room (223-E-1) and Gas room (223-E-2) Connect the Microbiology lab (room 234E) and Blood Bank (room 218E-2) to new Gas room (223-E-2) Demolish the existing gas room (gas control system and accessories) and all associated parts. It has been determined that there are qualified firms in accordance with Public Law 109-461 that are capable of performing under NAICS Code 236220, ""COMMERCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION"", with a size standard of $39.5M. Therefore this procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The estimated construction value of this is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Information regarding the scheduled site visit will be stated in the Solicitation. Bid bonding will be required to respond to this IFB once released. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIAL Solicitation materials consisting of the Information for Bid Details, Specifications, Drawings and Contract Forms will be available on http://www.sam.gov in electronic format only. These should be available on or about November 20, 2023. A Bidder's mailing list, list of interested parties and/or list of attendees at site visits WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contract Specialist. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be posted at http://www.sam.gov. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed. No other notification of amendments will be provided. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation and attaching to their bid.
