Description

This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice. Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 5 is seeking to procure Steam Water Heaters for the Hershel ""Woody"" Williams VA Medical Center. The requirement will support the medical center stay within compliance of policies found in VHA Directive 1810 and VHA Directive 1061(1). The Government intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to the responsible vendor whose quote provides the best value to the Government under the procedures in FAR 13.106. Market research indicates that this acquisition will be competed under a brand name or equal small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 333414 - Heating Equipment (except Warm Air Furnaces) Manufacturing (SBA Size Standard: 500 employees). The Product Service Code for this action is 4520 - Space and Water Heating Equipment. To be eligible for award, an offeror shall be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov and be classified as a small business under the NAICS 333414 in sam.gov. All interested and responsible parties may submit a quote following solicitation release. The solicitation will be posted to the Contract Opportunities website on or about October 27, 2023.
