Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division's Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) Consortium, Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation Consortium (MSTIC), currently has one (1) project being solicited on an ADHOC basis, FY24-01B. The RPP has been posted and is only available to consortium members via BIDs. The RPP closes on 12/14/2023. Below is some high level details of the project. Only members of the consortium may submit an Enhanced White Paper (EWP) in response to this problem statement. If you are interested, please visit mstic.org for further information.� TCB Communications Buoy NSWCPD is seeking support for legacy submarine buoy assembly is being upgraded, manufactured, tested and installed for improved performance and reliability. Upgraded components will be used on installed on OHIO class submarines and serves as basis for design on COLUMBIA Class submarines. Components designed, manufactured, tested and installed IAW with MIL-SPEC requirements System consists of towed buoy shell, canister basket and gimbal towpoint. The electronics components of the system are not part of the procurement. Government is seeking prototype manufacturing capabilities for towed buoy assembly. Delivered components require manufacturing, quality assurance validation, assembly, certification testing(limitations), packaging and delivery; Shipping Crates will be provided for handling assembled buoy. New manufacturing processes to reduce production times and manufacturing costs. Machining improvements when working with specialized materials.� No extension requests will be granted for this RPP.
