Description
The Asheville VA Medical Center (VAMC), Asheville, NC is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Mold and Asbestos Remediation in Building 15 Basement. The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 562910 Remediation Services. The project will require Contractor to provide all transportation, materials and parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, and technical expertise to remove mold in Building 15, Room B006, B006A and Hallway and remove asbestos containing floor coverings in Building 15, Room B006 and B006A. Total ACM Abatement: Approximately 1,100 square feet of carpet over suspected ACM floor tile and mastic. Total Mold Remediation: Approximately 2,500 square feet of mold on floors, walls and ceilings. Magnitude of Construction: Less than $25,000. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary and the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: Firm s name, address, email address, Web site address, telephone number, and business size and type of ownership for the organization. Is your firm currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database? If not, has it been registered, or does it plan to register? In consideration of 562910 Remediation Services with a small size standard in dollars of $25M, which of the following small business categories is your firm classified under, if any? Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women-owned Small Business, HUBZone Small Business, or 8(a) Business. Does your firm have experience in working at a Medical Center? If so, how many years of experience? Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. The government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential capacity: 1) Provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated. 2) Secure and apply the full range of corporate financial, human capital, and technical resources required to successfully perform similar requirements. 3) Implement a successful project management plan that includes compliance with tight program schedules; cost containment; meeting and tracking performance; hiring and retention of key personnel and risk mitigations.
