- Replace Spill Bucket Oklahoma City VA Health Care System (OKC VA HCS) Statement of Work (SOW) (This is for information ONLY) IMPORTANT NOTE: This Sources Sought is for market research purposes only (to determine the socioeconomic status of interested companies). No award will be made off of this posting. GENERAL: This project is to replace leaking spill bucket at the OKC VA HCS in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The contractor is fully responsible for verifying and validating all information contained within this statement of work. Contractor must fully evaluate the condition of the existing structures and verify the current condition of the project site. All measurements/quantities provided in this document are approximate and are to be used for reference only. The contractor will be responsible for taking on-site measurements and verifying all quantities and distances. All materials/fasteners/etc. must be new and provided by the contractor unless otherwise specified. The contractor shall abide by all Safety, Security and Infection Control Policies and Procedures of the Oklahoma City VA HCS. VA facilities are tobacco free. No smoking is permitted on VA property. The contractor is responsible for their subcontractor s compliance with this policy. All work must conform to, and comply with, the latest edition/version of ALL applicable VA, federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, codes, and standards. JUSTIFICATION: Spill containment inside existing hand-hole for diesel connection failed test conducted by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission for Non-compliance-Underground Storage Tank on August 11, 2023 with a follow-up date of September 12, 2023. Discrepancy must be corrected as soon as possible. STATEMENT OF WORK: The contractor shall provide supervision, manpower, and materials to properly remove existing spill bucket and replace with new. Contractor shall extract any liquid prior to removal of existing spill bucket. Contractor shall make cut no more than a 4 x 4 area of concrete to remove existing spill bucket. Contractor shall properly dispose materials generated by the excavation of the spill bucket. Contractor shall install new single-wall spill bucket to properly fit and seal existing pipe to prevent leakage along with concrete to secure spill bucket. Concrete shall match existing elevation. Clean up area after project completion and contact COR for final inspection. PHOTO REFERENCES: Existing Spill Bucket Work Schedule Normal working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (local time) Monday through Friday except for weekends and established Federal Holidays. No award will be made off of this posting. LIMITATIONS OF SUBCONTRACTING: The Limitations of Subcontracting may or may not apply to a resulting solicitation from this Market Research. Vendors are advised to familiarize themselves with Federal Acquisition Regulation parts 19.505(a)(2) and 19.505(b)(1) as it pertains to subcontracting limitations. Vendors are also advised to familiarize themselves with 13 CFR 125.6 and the penalties described in this regulation.
