- In compliance with FAR 5.201 as well as FAR 5.203(a)(1), this Intent to Sole Source is being posted. The United States Marshals Service (USMS) intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed price purchase order to CESC TRS, LLC dba SYMPARK, 4747 Bethesda Ave, Ste 200, Bethesda, MD 20814 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required. Market research efforts conclude that SYMPARK is the only source that can provide the requirement for parking spots for the USMS Investigative Operations Division, Sex Offender Investigative Branch for a period of one (1) year at the USMS building location. The justification for this requirement to be awarded to a sole source is due the requirement of have parking within the same proximity to the USMS building and to ensure the safety of USMS personnel. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. A Request for Quote will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. However, interested parties may identify their interests and submit a capabilities statement in response to the requirement by contacting Christopher Saunders, Contracting Officer via email only at christopher.saunders@usdoj.gov no later than November 21, 2023, 4:00 PM ET, seven (7) days after the date of publication of this notice. Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No phone calls regarding questions will be accepted and will not receive a response. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. Vendors must be registered in SAM to receive government contracts.
