Description

1. The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 20, intends to solicit quotes for Thyroid Molecular Testing, Boise VA Medical Center, Boise, Idaho. A Statement of Work (SOW) will be included in the solicitation. The Request for Quotations number is 36C26023Q0047. 2. The solicitation will result in the award of a single contract. The resulting contract will be a fixed-price contract. The applicable NAICS code is 621511 (Medical Laboratories) and the small business size standard is $41.5 Million. This procurement is being solicited in accordance with FAR Part 13 Procedures. This is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside.  The Small Business Administration Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov will be used to verify SDVOSB status of Quoters.  Uncertified SDVOSBs are considered deficient and will not be evaluated. 3. The intended contract period is a Base period and four option periods. 4. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the Contracting Opportunities website, https://sam.gov/. The tentative solicitation issue date is Nov 15, 2023, and the anticipated closing date is Nov 27, 2023. Interested Quoters are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. 5. Quoters from all capable and responsible sources will be considered.
