Description

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Freestate Baltimore LLC for trasformer and switch rental to provide temporary power for multiple USCG SFLC buildings. Company Name: Freestate Baltimore LLC (See attached justification [JOTFOC]) The total estimated value is less than $125,000.00. This sole source contracting action is in accordance with Federal Aquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(2)(b) (urgent) and 6.303-2 modified to reflect procedures in 13.5 (a)(ii). This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the item/s included in this requirement.� Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be� advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the� mission objectives. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the� Government.� Information received will �be considered for the purposes of determining� whether to conduct a competitive solicitation for future requirements of a this type and of a non-emergent nature. The Government will not be responsible for any costs� incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
