- Question and Answers. Question: For clarification, are you looking for just for the equipment with the test strips themselves or, are you needing a service provider to purchase the equipment to keep onsite and perform the test as a service? Answer: This Solicitation is for Automated Urine Analyzer equipment and CPT (Cost Per Test). Please reference Section B.3 Statement of Work for further details. Question: Is it acceptable to provide more than one option for consideration? Answer: Yes, it is acceptable. Can you please provide the volumes for each site, specifically, Chemistry and Microscopic? Answer: The numbers given in Section B.2 are the estimates for each location CPT to include Chemistry and Microscopic tests combined. All locations perform both test at the same time. VA Caribbean Healthcare System San Juan Chemistry and Microscopic: estimated volume: 8,600 per month. Ponce Outpatient Clinic Chemistry and Microscopic: estimated volume 1,200 per month. Mayaguez Outpatient Clinic Chemistry and Microscopic: estimated volume 1,200 per month. All urinalysis samples have chemical and microscopic analysis. Question: The vendor plans to submit an all-inclusive CPR price blended across all 3 locations, specifically a Chemistry rate and Microscopic rate. Can you advise as to where you prefer, I list these rates on the B.2 Price/Cost Schedule? Answer: If the items cannot fit in Section B.2 Price/Cost Schedule, you will be allowed to list the items on your quote document. Question: Can you specify which laboratories require a benchtop model or a model with a wagon/cart? Answer: VA Caribbean Healthcare System San Juan: 2 wagon/cart model. Ponce Outpatient Clinic: 1 bench-top model. Mayaguez Outpatient Clinic: 1 bench-top model.
