- Description
- The Indian Health Service (IHS), Gallup Service Unit, intends to negotiate a single-sourced, firm-fixed-price contract with Project Bike Tech (UEI NKYRLKA3K9R1). �The contract is intended to provide training sessions for two high schools on the Navajo Nation, aimed at teaching the Bike Tech in Schools curriculum. The NAICS code is 611620, with an associated small business size standard of $9.0 million. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchase not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). This notice of intent is not a request for quotations or proposals, and a competitive solicitation will not be issued. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
