- SUBJECT: VA Enterprise Human Capital Management Modernization Special Notice Page 4 of 4 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is hosting a Virtual Industry Day event scheduled for Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 01:00 PM through 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time and will be hosted through Microsoft Teams. BE ADVISED: The VA Enterprise Human Capital Management Modernization Virtual Industry Day will be recorded. VA is continuing to work towards modernizing its Human Capital Management (HCM) capabilities to empower and enable a diverse, fully staffed, and highly skilled workforce that consistently delivers world-class services to Veterans and their families. As VA continues to engage with Industry on the goal to enhance the overall Human Capital lifecycle, customer, and user experience, and improve VA s ability to compete with modern recruitment and talent acquisition landscape, the purpose of this event is to provide additional information based on industry feedback from the most recent Request for Information (RFI) of June 2023. VA has taken Industry s feedback from prior RFI s and Industry Day events and has evolved its approach to implementing a modern HCM solution capable of keeping up with constantly changing HR regulatory, policy and Information technology trends. This Industry Day event will share the approach and VA seeks to gain additional Industry feedback prior to solicitation. Industry participants are highly encouraged to come prepared and to ask questions. A draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and associated attachments will be provided at a later date. Participants are limited to three (3) invites per company and shall pre-register with their intent to participate in the VA Enterprise HCM Modernization Virtual Industry Day event no later than 5:00PM Eastern Standard Time on Thursday, November 30, 2023 to William Waterhouse via email William.Waterhouse@va.gov and Ana Subashi via email Ana.Subashi@va.gov. There is no cost to attend this Virtual Industry Day event or to view the live video stream; however, pre-registration is required. The link for this Virtual Industry Day event will be made available a few days prior to the event. Event agenda and other applicable documentation will be provided to each registered participant prior to this Virtual Industry Day event. This Virtual Industry Day event is not mandatory to compete for this or subsequent requirements. It is being provided for informational and market research purposes. Various VA members will attend this Virtual Industry Day event to further discussion and field questions, as appropriate. Your response to this Virtual Industry Day will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this Virtual Industry Day. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government will not pay for the information submitted in response to this Virtual Industry Day.
