Description

NASA/MSFC has a requirement for expanded NASA�s Visualization, Exploration, and Data Analysis (VEDA) project and additional Green House Gas (GHG) support. NASA/MSFC intends to issue a sole source contract modification to acquire the expanded VEDA support and GHG project in support of the NASA Headquarters Earth Science Data Systems program to advance interactive visualization, exploratory visual data analysis, geographic information system, and within the cloud computing and high-performance computing environment.� GHG includes implementation of the VEDA system for the GHG Center Monitoring and Information System.� Additionally, it collaborates actively with various agencies, including science teams, data teams and engineering teams to gather input and customize the VEDA system to meet the unique needs for GHG and stakeholders.� This requirement is being awarded sole-source to New Rights Group, Inc., dba Development Seed, as this contractor is currently performing this task under contract number 80MSFC22CA004.� Note, however, a competitive acquistion is currently in process for future associated effort.� The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Brent Evans, brent.l.evans@nasa.gov, not later than 5:00 P.M. CST on December 1, 2023.� Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis.� A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
