Technical Specifications: The USGS requires duplexers that are compatible with existing 4RF radios in use and can be tuned to specific frequencies. 1. The Frequency Range the duplexer must operate within is 134-172Mhz for low side filter and 138- 176MHZ high side filter 2. Bandwidth requirements to ensure compatibility with your system is 25Khz 3. The maximum acceptable insertion loss to improve system efficiency is less than 2.5 DB 4. The required level of isolation between transmit and receive paths to avoid interference is 4.6 MHZ 5. The maximum power level the duplexer must be able to handle is 20W 6. The required impedance is 50 ohms. 7. The acceptable VSWR limit for efficient power transfer. N/A this is filter not an antenna. 8. The type of RF connectors required are N type to antenna and SMA from radio 9. Size is critical due to space limitations, H = one and inches, W= 13 and 3/8 inches, L=11 and 5/8 inches. 10. The operating temperature range the duplexer must withstand is from -40 F to 158 F. 11. No Mil-specs requirements 12. Must be compatible with 4RF radio 13. This is a frequency filter so it must be retuneable inside the the 138Mhz 172 Mhz range. 14. No additional certifications required 15. This must have a 2 year warranty as we will be testing for 3 months in house then deploy to remote location for duration.
