SPECIAL NOTICE: 36C24924Q0083 The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to issue a sole-source firm-fixed priced contract to Hamilton Medical, Inc. 4655 Aircenter Cir, Reno, NV 89502-5948. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) and on behalf of the Memphis Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9 intends to issue an open market sole source firm-fixed priced contract to Hamilton Medical, Inc. located at 4655 Aircenter Cir, Reno, NV 89502-5948. The rationale basis for the sole source acquisition is that Hamilton Medical, Inc. (Large Business) is the only responsible source that can provide the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the Hamilton-T1 package, accessories, hardware installation, software installation, and training. Hamilton Medical is the sole source manufacturer and distributor of the Hamilton-T1 transport ventilator system. Hamilton Medical Sells directly to the end user facilities and as such, there are no agents or dealers authorized to represent this product. No other division of Hamilton Medical, nor any other company makes similar or competing products. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is, 339112 - Product of Service Code for this requirement is 6515. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for this sector is 1,000 employees. Background. The Memphis Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104-2127, has a requirement for Hamilton-T1 transport ventilator system, accessories, hardware installation, software installation, and training. Delivery must be FOB destination 45 days after receipt of order.
