- Description
- The 410th Contracting Support Brigade is seeking to obtain support to provide Forklift services in Chile. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide a rough terrain 10K forklift with extended forks, operator, and maintenance services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this sources sought.�Performance Requirements are as follows- Specific Tasks: Contractor shall provide non-personal services to the Government with one rough terrain 10K forklift with operator and maintenance services at Iquique, Chile from Aug 2024 to Sep 2024. The contractor shall accomplish services in coordination with the Contracting Officer (KO) and the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).� Basic Services. The Contractor shall provide the Government with one rough terrain 10K forklift with operator and maintenance service package for scheduled services and emergencies at the location and dates specified above. Technician Services: The Contractor shall provide a service technician(s) to repair unit at any time during the performance period. Technician(s) shall be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and shall be on-site within two (2) hours of initial trouble call made by the COR. The Service Technician shall be able to read, speak, and write English at a minimum level II proficiency IAW https://www.govtilr.org/Skills/ILRscale2.htm. Operational Reporting: The Service Technician shall notify the KO, or COR if unit cannot be restored to operational status within a 4 hour time period after arrival on-site. The Contractor shall provide replacement unit if he/she determines that repairs will take longer than 24 hours to repair. Replacement unit will be provided within one (1) day. All parts used or replaced by technicians shall be part of the maintenance and service package and provided to the Government at no additional cost. The Contractor shall provide the KO and COR with a trouble call number for the maintenance technician/s not later than seven (7) days prior to contract start date. The technicians shall be available 24/7 throughout duration of the contract. Inspection: The KO or COR will conduct a joint equipment inspection with the Contractor to ensure physical and mechanical condition of the 10K forklift satisfies the US Government�s needs, and safety needs. Insurance: In the event of an accident, the Contractor is solely responsible for all damages to its property and/or any damage to a third party. The US Government assumes no liability for damages or injuries. Driver: The Contractor shall ensure operators and drivers are licensed and capable of safely operating vehicles and machinery used for performance of this contract.
