CONTINUATION PAGE Solicitation 36C24423Q1192 Amendment 0001 1. Question: Version Clarification - OnGuard version & LNVR version? Answer: 8.0 2. Separate security network or on VA production network? Answer: Stand-alone system 3. Will remote access to Lenel system be provided when needed? Answer: No remote access will be provided 4. How many Client Workstations are there? Answer: 2 Client Workstations 5. Has the VA determined their existing server and workstations are properly configured to run the latest version of Lenel software as stated is a requirement in the PWS? If not, which is quite common, what contracting vehicle will be afforded the contractor to supply upgraded computer hardware? Answer: Confirmed latest version that works with the current system. 8.2 is available but is not needed. 6. Are there any Integrations with other software on site? Answer: Avigilon 7. Are there any Custom Solutions running on the software? typically these have been paid for by the VA and created/installed by Lenel. Answer: No 8. Will our staff be provided near to building parking access and badge access to move about the building to perform services as needed? Or will we be required to have an escort when inside building? Answer: Parking available. Escort needed at all times. 9. Has the VA Lenel System Administrator of the software been trained and certified through the Lenel training process? If not, what training has the VA Lenel Systems Administrator had? Answer: Yes, trained and certified. 10. Who owns the Lenel system; IT or Police or other? Answer: Police 11. There does not appear to be any preventative maintenance requirements for the hardware, just the monthly care and updating of the software. Please confirm that is correct and there are no PM requirements for all the cameras or card readers doors etc? Answer: No PM requirements. 12. Is a lift required to access any of the exterior cameras? If yes, does the VA provide a lift? Answer: No. Vendor provides bucket truck. 13. How many NVR Servers are part of the system? Answer: 4 NVR Servers 14. Total cameras in system vs licensed? Answer: Total number of cameras is 427. All cameras are licensed. 15. Total readers in system vs licensed? Answer: Total number of readers is 560. All readers are licensed. 16. Can the VA confirm that there are no products connected to the Lenel systems that are in violation of the NDAA in terms of materials sourced from select US Gov banned entities? Answer: No product violations. 17. Will the government please provide an average number, or expected average number, of maintenance support requests per month? Answer: This requirement is going to be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity because the average is unknown. An educated guess may be 4 requests per month 32 hours, but this is not contractual and is again a guestimate. 18. Will the government please provide an average number, or expected average number, of emergency service calls per month? Answer: This requirement is going to be awarded as an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity because the average is unknown. An educated guess may be 4 requests per year, but this is not contractual and is again a guestimate. 19. Will the government please advise where to include costs associated with administration of maintenance requests, travel charges, or other indirect costs not directly associated with troubleshooting and repair of devices? Answer: These costs should be inclusive to the individual request. 20. Is there a current service provider maintaining the Lenel system? If so, will the government please provide information of the current service provider including contract number? Answer: Tri-M is the current Security vendor. There is no active service contract with Tri-M. 21. Will the government please confirm that the Lenel SSA is up to date? Answer: Expired 05/31/23 22. Will the government please provide the last date of service for the Lenel system? Answer: 05/31/23 23. Will the government provide a computer for the technician to use for programming and service on the system? Answer: No computer will be provided. 24. Do technicians require any clearances? Answer: No, only Lenel certification. 25. Would it be possible to find out what version of OnGuard the customer is on please? Answer: OnGuard Version is 8.0 End of Document
