Description
The Maritime Reconnaissance Unmanned Surface Vessel (USV) is a semi-autonomous platform capable of multi-domain sensor collections that enables the Marine Division to enhance Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) for the Marine Expeditionary Force, Naval Expeditionary Force and Coalition maritime operations centers. This is a Request for Information (RFI), on behalf of Marine Corps System Command (MCSC), initiating market research under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and is not an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) Invitation Letter nor a Request for Proposal (RFP). �The information herein only initiates communication with industry to assess capabilities available in the marketplace and update market research in support of preliminary acquisition planning.� No solicitation document exists at this time. This RFI constitutes no Government obligation to procure these items or issue an OTA invitation letter or RFP. �The Government has no obligation to pay for information responding to this RFI and will not accept any responses as offers. �Vendors should mark any proprietary information clearly and appropriately.� Responses to this RFI shall be unclassified. Reference any classified data as available in the response. The Program Manager Fires Support Systems (PM FSS), Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) seeks industry input to identify potential sources for an unmanned surface vessel, and mission enabling systems, initially focused on an integrated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capability. �All USV and enabling system technology solutions should be ready for systems integration and demonstration in an operational environment (Technology Readiness Level 7 and above). Please submit RFI questions to Morgan Carey, Contract Specialist, via email Morgan.Carey@usmc.mil with a courtesy copy to Peggy Smith, Contracting Officer, via email at Peggy.L.Smith1@usmc.mil no later than 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST), 12 December 2023. MCSC will post all questions and answers to the SAM.gov website (https://www.sam.gov/). Responses shall be submitted electronically via e-mail to Morgan Carey, Contract Specialist, via email Morgan.Carey@usmc.mil with a courtesy copy to Peggy Smith, Contracting Officer, via email at Peggy.L.Smith1@usmc.mil no later than 12:00 p.m. EST, 16 January 2024. All responses shall reference RFI# M67854-24-I-1017.
