- Pre-solicitation Notice:� On-site Radiation Oncology Physician Services This procurement will be set-aside based on an order of priority as established in 38 U.S.C. 8127 TIERED EVALUATIONS INCLUDING LARGE BUSINESS CONCERNS. This solicitation will be issued as a tiered evaluation for SDVOSB concerns, or in the�alternative, for VOSB concerns, or in the alternative, for other small business concerns with HUBZone small business concerns and 8(a) participants having priority, or in the alternative, other than small business concerns.� If an award cannot be made, the solicitation will be cancelled and the requirement resolicited. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 08, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), San Juan VA Medical Center (SJVAMC), 10th Casia Street One Veterans Plaza, San Juan P.R. 00921-3201, intends to solicit quotes from contractors to provide all personnel to provide services necessary to perform on-site board-certified Radiation Oncology Physician services to eligible beneficiaries of the San Juan VA Medical Center under a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract.� All VHA Radiation Oncology Services are accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting body contracted through the National Radiation Oncology Program (NROP). As such, any Contractor providing on-site radiation oncology services must adhere to all the policies and procedures; practice standards, guidelines, patient care operations; patient safety; quality assurance and quality management of radiotherapy planning, equipment, and delivery; and continuous quality improvement initiatives promulgated by the American College of Radiology, American Society for Radiation Oncology and American Associate for Physicist in Medicine.� A contractor providing on-site radiation oncology physician services must provide evidence the radiation oncology practice meets or exceeds the established clinical practice guidelines and standards. The Contractor shall quote 0.6 (1252 hours) full time equivalent (FTE) Radiation Oncology Physician(s) (ROP) as key personnel to be credentialed and be available for scheduling to meet the requirements of the contract.
