- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract, and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is prescribed by FAR 13.501(a). The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 22 (NCO 22) intends to issue a five year (one 12-month base year; and four 12-month option years); firm fixed prices; sole source award contract to VA Phoenix Health Care System. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating the ability to provide the requested services, which shall be considered by the agency before the intended award date. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested vendors must respond to this notice on or before December 18, 2023, at 04:30 p.m. Pacific Time by sending an email to Dyne.Kim@va.gov. NAICS Code: 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance primarily engaged in repairing and maintaining one or more of the following: (1) consumer electronic equipment; (2) computers; (3) office machines; (4) communication equipment; and (5) other electronic and precision equipment and instruments, without retailing these products as new. Establishments in this industry repair items, such as microscopes, radar and sonar equipment, televisions, stereos, video recorders, computers, fax machines, photocopying machines, two-way radios, cellular telephones, and other communications equipment, scientific instruments, and medical equipment. Background: VA Phoenix Healthcare System s Department of Medicine uses Endosoft Endovault for its GI/GU, and bronchoscopy endoscopy procedures. The application is owned by Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) Department. Scope: The contractor shall be certified to perform any services/maintenance on the endoscopy system, provide documentation/copy of certification with proposal submittals and upon award, and provide corrective and preventive maintenance for the endoscopy application. Objectives: The Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) requires a service agreement to provide licenses for and maintain the Utech Endosoft Endovault application.
