- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government reserves the right to make no award from this solicitation. This is a request for quote (RFQ), and the solicitation number is 36C25024Q0183. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars 2023-06, effective 12/04/2023. The associated NAICS Code is 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 10, is soliciting quotes from all sources to supply the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center, Columbus, Ohio, Stryker 1688 Systems for patient care. Respondents to this solicitation must fully demonstrate their capability by supplying detailed quote information, along with any other documents necessary to support the requirements below. However, we believe Stryker Endoscopy, and their authorized distributors are the only Contractors able to provide this requirement. This is a Brand Name Only Requirement. Contract Title. New CCU and Camera Heads/Camera-Couplers 3. Background. The Chalmers P. Wylie VA is in need of: The 1688 4K camera and pendulum camera, couplers, USB cable, and fiber optic light cord, to allow the surgeons the capabilities of an image that is clear, more accurate color reproduction and light quality. The fiber optic light cable is composed of a fiber optic bundle, silicone sheath, rubber handle, and two stainless steel connectors. One end of the Fiber Optic Light Cable connects with a light source and the other end connects with an endoscope. The Fiber Optic Light Cable is used with a light source and an adapter/scope to transmit light to a scope to conduct a minimally invasive surgical procedure. The pendulum camera is designed with a 90 angle between the camera head and the scope to allow for easier access during urological procedures. The 1688 4K pendulum camera head with integrated coupler will automatically flip the video image back to the initial orientation when the camera is rotated 180 . The endobody clamp secures the endoscope to the camera head. The camera head and coupler will allow rotation with the use of the endobody (brake) clamp release. Releasing the brake will rotate the head counterclockwise to visualize difficult areas of the bladder. The seamless connectivity lets the surgeon share with the Veteran their findings and surgical intervention. Stryker advanced 4K camera and couplers allows the arthroscope procedure to be a more thorough exam, having the capability of higher illumination technology, giving the Veteran a surgical intervention that is safer, with a higher quality outcome. 4. Scope. We are wanting to purchase 4 camera control units, 4 USB cables, 10 camera heads and couplers, 6 fiber optic light cable and 4 pendulum camera heads with intergraded coupler. This will replace and update our arthroscopic equipment that we currently use daily for multiple surgical specialties. These items will allow clearer and greater visualization of the Veteran. The 4K pendulum camera head with integrated coupler will give the urologist the best visualization and technology of urinary disorders possible for our Veterans. Purchasing four pendulum camera and couplers will allow more Veterans to have their procedures completed and interventions began quicker. The camera control units, camera heads and couplers and light cords would allow the veteran to receive and best care and outcome with the newest technology. 5. Specific Tasks.
